About Me
Hello! 大家好!My name is Olivia Parker. I am a recent graduate of Arizona State University. I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am so thrilled to return home from graduating abroad with a degree in Chinese and a minor in French. I currently live in Washington, DC pursuing a master's in Public Policy and International Security from the University of Maryland. I hope you enjoy my portfolio. Work Experience
2012 - 2020
National Public Radio
I was a student journalist from 2012 to 2016. While in college I had the opportunity to become an instructor and production assistant, while also producing over 20 media pieces.
2016 - 2022
Pita Jungle
I have been working for Pita Jungle for 3 years now. Between two locations I have worked several different positions including hostess, food runner, busser, server, and shift manager.
2019- 2020
US Department of State
I was a foreign service intern for two summers, specifically in the Bureau of Consular Affairs and East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Summer of 2019 I worked at the main center in Washington, D.C. In 2020 I worked virtually focusing on analyzing Chinese media.
